THE WEEKEND REPORT

Let the “SON-SHINE IN!” The Solar Eclipse has been an exciting event this week which is amazing…but NOTHING compares to the SON-LIGHT that JESUS can bring you; 😃!

Thursday April 4…We want to give a “Shout Out” to all our friends in the Malden, MO, area that attended the gathering last Thursday at First Assembly of God. We had a wonderful time singing for the Southern Missouri Assemblies of God, “Seniors Night of Celebration.” Thank You to Jimmy Davis for organizing the event, and for the invitation extended to The Lesters to be part of your evening. We were “blessed beyond measure.”

Sunday April 7…Lifepointe Church Sedalia, MO…What an Awesome Day we spent with Pastor Rusty Thomas and everyone @ Lifepointe Church. This fellowship is one of the fastest growing churches in Missouri, and having the opportunity to be with them ALL DAY last Sunday…we can see why. It’s actually plain and simple…they’re All About JESUS!

We first met Pastor Rusty in Annapolis, MO, last November. He was in revival at First Baptist Church where my brother-in-law, Dan Pitchers, and my sister Ginger pastor. He talked with us about bringing the entire “LesterBunch” to Sedalia; Dan would preach and we would do the music. This past week it happened and we PRAISE GOD for His leading in each service. Dan preached Wednesday night, and then he preached his heart out in all three services Sunday morning. The Lesters sang in each of the morning services on Sunday, and then presented a full evening concert. But the night wouldn’t have been complete without Ginger joining us to sing, “Family Tree” and “He Didn’t Throw The Clay Away!”

We are so thankful to Pastor Rusty, his wife Angie, (she really does exist Rusty 😂), and to the entire staff & congregation of Lifepointe Church. You are in the “right place & right time” to reach Sedalia and surrounding areas for Jesus Christ! Thanks soooo much for having us to be part of your worship services; WE LOVE YOU.

Something wonderfully powerful happens when the Word of Christ dwells richly in our lives. When "with grace in your heart" you find yourself singing and worshipping every day and in every way, a powerful life of wisdom is the result. The Lesters are a family who for generations, for 90 years, have been singing and leading others to worship Jesus. Brian, Bailee, and Jonathan will be with us! They will sing and teach in Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs! This conference will be a great day! The cost is $25, which will cover the cost of lunch. We will also be collecting a love offering for The Lesters. You are encouraged to invite a friend too.
