Hello Michael,

As Public Policy Subcommittee Chairman, I am proud to announce that the Lake County Republican Party has decided to formally censure State Senate President Kathleen Passidomo for her actions unbecoming of a Republican official. As many of you know, the Republican Party of Florida and the Lake County Republican Party have passed a 2024 Legislative Agenda, demanding the passage of conservative legislation currently filed in the Florida Legislature during the current session.

However, State Senate President Passidomo has publicly declared that she is currently blocking and will continue to block six of the ten state legislative bills that are the core of the 2024 RPOF and LCREC Legislative Agendas, in addition to all Election Integrity bills currently filed in the Legislature during the 2024 session.

Given this situation, the Lake County Republican Party has decided to censure State Senate President Passidomo. We believe that her actions are not in line with the values of our party, and we must hold our elected officials accountable when they stray from the path that we have collectively chosen.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Lake County Republican Party Chairman Anthony Sabatini for always thinking outside the box and finding new ways to hold our Republican officials accountable.

We are proud to have a leader like Chairman Sabatini who is not afraid to stand up for what is right and fight for our party's values.
