I am so excited to announce I'M BACK! I retired from Expedia Cruises as an Independent Travel Consultant after 15 years; my core business was busy and I had moved away from the office. In March 2020 Covid shut down the world, my core business and the travel industry. So I spent the next 18 months exploring other business ideas. However a travel career kept recurring in my dreams... It is evident that I love travel, and it's not just my travel. I love hearing about other people's travel. I love researching travel. I love learning about travel.
My favorite mode of travel is cruising. I have sailed 35 times onboard Azamara, Bahamas Paradise, Carnival, Celebrity, Disney, Holland America, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Silversea and Sun. I have enjoyed every style of stateroom on a cruise ship from inside to owner's suite. That's not to say that I don't like land, as I have stayed in numerous resorts in Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico. I have also toured Europe by bus/hotel as a teenager, backpack/tent for my honeymoon and suitcase/hotel for a vacation.
This time off has made me rethink travel and how important it is to visit someplace that I have never been before. Expedia and Ewan McGregor ask the question "Do you think any of us will look back at our lives and regret the things we didn’t buy…or the places we didn’t go?” I think it has become more evident that we need to start collecting memories and not monuments. That's why I'm back, so I can help you start checking off your travel bucket list!
