Shady Canyon Home Sells for $25 Million
A hilltop Mediterranean-style mansion in guard-gated Shady Canyon has closed for $25 million this August, making it Irvine’s all-time most expensive home sale. It isn’t the first time!
The seller Joni Rogers-Kante, founder and CEO of the cosmetics brand SeneGence, previously bought the property from sports radio personality Jim Rome in April 2017 for $12.7 million. That sale broke the record as the most expensive sale at the time.
Built in 2004, the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom house has 13,046 square feet of living space across three levels, served by an elevator. The property includes a catering kitchen, a home theater, a game room with a wet bar, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar and a resort-style yard with an infinity pool and spa all on more than three-quarters of an acre with canyon, golf course and city views.
