The year ended with another surprising month in real estate. December recorded record high-end volume in real estate sales, including the biggest single-family sale in recent state history. A single-family home in Rye sold for $25 million and is believed to be the highest price paid for a single-family home in at least 10 years! 😲

The December median sale price for single-family homes was up 14.4% from last year and the available inventory was up 54% from last year. While sales totals are down for 2022 the median sale price is up 11.3%.

"The surprising strength of our upper-end market continues to be impressive," said Sandy Healy, Seacoast Board of Realtors president. "It truly demonstrates the confidence buyers have in Seacoast real estate."
