Supporting Black Families

Black History Month presents another opportunity for our early learning programs to honor, embrace, and support Black families. There are many ways we can bolster our existing program offerings accordingly - from further integrating Black culture into our programs and celebrating Black joy to exploring Black history with our children and program staff and building stronger supports for Black families and their children's well-being.

Brazelton Touchpoints Center is offering a series of webinars known as Parenting While Black that focuses on reclaiming, centering, and affirming our joy in raising Black children. This free webinar series offers a safe and welcoming space to hold conversations for and by Black families.

Topics will include:
- Embracing Black Joy and Excellence;
- Parenting While Black in White Spaces;
- Birthing While Black;
- Black Mental Health
- and more!
