You all brought the Community magic!
You helped us SURPASS our Giving Tuesday Goal, and we could not be more thankful that you showed up!
Wow! We are incredibly humbled by our community who came together and made this the most successful Giving Tuesday event yet!

We smashed our goal of raising $50,000 and doing 100,000 exercise movements. Together, we have raised nearly $55,000 and did 136,440 total movements. Over 28,000 of those movements were done by our FTR Affiliate, Crossfit Low Oxygen.

Thank you to everyone who donated their money, time, energy, and sweat.
Your donations will help Fit To Recover:

CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Deeply Rooted

The Creative Arts Pillar held their first-ever Deeply Rooted III Virtual Concert on Saturday December 5th and it was a huge success! Thanks to Andres Galvin for his amazing artwork on the Deeply Rooted flyer.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Last month, FTR held a food drive in partnership with the Utah Food Bank.
Together, our community donated 427 lbs worth of canned food, desperately needed by the Utah Food Bank.

This month, we are doing our annual clothing drive for persons experiencing homelessness. We are looking for warm clothing items such as new socks, gloves, hats, lightly-used coat or jackets, sweaters, and thermals, and hand and feet warmers. We will be going out Saturday December 19 to distribute all donations to the homeless. If you’re interested in helping out on Saturday December 19th, please call/text Maara at (385) 267-2050.

We would like to thank the Masonic Foundation of Utah for their recent support of Fit To Recover’s mentor/fitness program for inmates enrolled in the Correctional Addictions Treatment Services (CATS) program at the Salt Lake County Oxbow Jail. We are excited for this new partnership with the Masonic Foundation of Utah!
Thank you, Masonic Foundation of Utah

MVP Scholarship
In partnership with our good friend, Nate Peck, we are offering a new scholarship. The FTR / MVP scholarship provides unlimited access to fitness classes and the FTR community for 90 days and is designed to offer an additional layer of support and accountability in the critical stages of early recovery, with weekly and monthly check-ins. “The Fit to Recover community has provided me with support and guidance that has been pivotal in my recovery. I'm confident in their mission and leadership to continue providing a safe place for people in recovery to connect through physical fitness, nutrition, community service, and creative arts.” – Nate Peck
If interested, call our Outreach Director, Tanner, at (385)321-7374. Fill out an application at the front desk.
