Chamber wins Tourism Award

The Lake City Chamber of Commerce/Visit Lake City took home a top award at the Explore Minnesota 2023 annual conference held on February 28th at the Bloomington/Minneapolis South Double Tree by Hilton.

Explore Minnesota described the Only in Minnesota Award as recognizing, “an initiative that exemplifies the spirit of “Only in Minnesota," celebrating experiences unique or exclusive to Minnesota,” and is presented annually to one, “iconic organization, event or person that has become synonymous with Minnesota or a community within the state.”

Fall Fest Fundraiser!

It may just be spring, but we're already thinking Fall Fest!

From the Fun Zone to Johnny Appleseed Days to Haunted Hok Si La and so much more, Fall Fest is quickly becoming the talk of the region! We need your help to make 2023's events bigger and better than ever!

We're still feeling lucky from St. Patrick's Day, so we're inviting the community to come to Port 104 on Friday March 24th at 6:30pm in your green gear and join us for a night of fun, prizes, and playing Bunco! 

Never played? Don't worry, we will teach you! 

Free will donations will be accepted.

Business After Hours will be from 5:00-6:30pm. Your host, the Mount Frontenac Golf Course, will be offering pasta night, cash bar, and networking opportunities.

Incumbent Worker Training

Workforce Development, Inc would like to introduce regional employers to The Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP). IWTP is business-driven funding assistance for qualifying employers to improve the skills of their workforce with new or upgraded work skills. It supplies marketable expertise to employees, can build and maintain a quality workforce, and is designed to assist employers to retain a skilled workforce or avert layoffs.
