Elk Rapids Farmers Market Moving to New Location This Season

Big Announcement! The Elk Rapids Farmers Market is moving downtown Elk Rapids for the season.

The decision to move for the season is driven by the Paddle Antrim-Rotary Park construction, which is set to begin on Monday, June 10, 2024.

The Chamber of Commerce reviewed all options for alternative locations and determined the best location was the Cedar Street Parking Lot in Downtown Elk Rapids. The lot is directly behind the Dexter Hotel and accessible from Cedar Street between River Street and Harbor Drive. The market will still be held each Friday from 8 am to 12 pm and will run from June 7 to October 4, 2024.  A location for the market on August 2, 2024 is still under review as the lot will be occupied by Arnold Amusement for Harbor Days.

We’re asking the residents who park in the Cedar Street Parking Lot to please park on the northern row only on Thursday evenings until the market wraps up each Friday. The vendors are usually gone by 1:30 pm. Those coming to the market will park in the spaces available throughout downtown. There will be handicap spots and an area for pickup and carry-outs. Look for signage throughout the village for directions and please share the news with friends, family, and visitors!

For more information and to answer any questions, please call us at (231) 264-8202 or email info@elkrapidschamber.org.

Thank you for your understanding and supporting our local farmers.  We are looking forward to a great Farmer Market season.
