Living Necklace (EN/FR)

This kit includes instructions and materials for 35 students to make a necklace using a cotton ball and seeds. In a few days, the seeds sprout and the necklace comes alive!

This storybook focuses on farm stewardship and sustainability, while also highlighting modern farm practices and technologies.

Feeding a Growing World: Exploring Saskatchewan's Role in Global Food Security GRADE 7 | SS
Students inquire, explore and investigate how Saskatchewan agriculture might contribute to global food security for 9 billion people.

Career Case (EN/FR)
GRADES 9 TO 12 | Careers, Hlth, PAA, Sci, SS
A gamified learning experience for students to explore their personal interests and discover how they fit into diverse careers in agriculture in a fun, engaging way.

Oats for Breakfast Nutrition Support Bursary
GRADES K - 12 | Province-wide

Apply by Month XX for a bursary to support in-school nutrition programs. The bursaries may be used toward oats and oat-based foods for students and will be awarded based on demonstrated need.

Virtual Youth Institute

Students passionate about global food security are encouraged to apply to represent Saskatchewan at the Virtual Youth Institute on May 31, 2023, with the opportunity to advance to the Global Youth Institute in Des Moines, Iowa in October.
DFC Scholarships

A scholarship not about grades or transcripts, but about discovering what sustainability means to students and their future through 3 creative submission options.
CABEF Scholarships
Apply by April 30, 2023

For students enrolling or currently in an ag-related program, choose a UN Sustainable Development goal and highlight 3 ways their future career in agriculture and food will contribute to it.
