Just Getting Started
Hello members -

I'd like to take a moment to thank you for the past year - and to let you know that I have an ASK of you.

Help us make this the best year yet for San Juan Island Food Co-op by being even more involved than you have in the past!

How can you be involved?

Inform the movement of the Co-op by coming to our meetings, volunteer on delivery days and help us get all of our new products out on the shelves or volunteer by giving 30 minutes to grab a broom and help keep the Co-op spic and span.

Now is the time. Are you ready?

I'm all in.

Best wishes for 2020,
Kristin

A Note from our Volunteer Coordinator

Happiest New Year to all our members and volunteers!

The Co-op Volunteer Potluck was a lot of fun and festive, too. We met at Bakery San Juan and the food spread was delicious.

Thank you to everyone who attended. We appreciated board members in attendance that gave us all an update on Co-op happenings. It feels good to be in the know.

A few staff members were there as well and it was wonderful to spend time with such hardworking and thoughtful Co-op employees.

Volunteers continue to sustain the health of our Co-op and we thank you all, for your commitment and willingness to show up, follow through and care for the store and membership.

All good things,

Susan WIlliamson
SJIFC Volunteer Coordinator
Thank you to everyone who joined us!

We had a sweet little surprise for our volunteers; names were put in a basket - and the first name drawn won the opportunity to go into the Co-op and get something under $50. The second and third names were $30, and $20 respectively.

Look at Ann pictured with her catch!
