Thank you to our sponsors, exhibitors and BIA members who made the 2022 BIG Home Building & Remodeling Show a big success! We wanted to share some feedback from an exhibitor and BIA member as we heard similar sentiments regarding the Show:

“Although we were unsure about how many people might attend the April/May 2022 BIA Big Home and remodeling show we decided to go forward. It was refreshing to meet with consumers at a live show. We found there fewer “lookie loos” and more attendees who were serious about looking at our products. We were able to interact with more people considering a project in the immediate future. Overall we received more real leads than at the last two home shows before the pandemic.”

We Welcome BIA’s New NAHB State Rep Tag Gilkeson.

Tag has always been involved in the industry. He began working with houses that needed repair while remodeling them to make a profit. Remodeling eventually led him to build new homes and his passion began to grow from there.

Several decades later that passion has led him to design custom homes for builders, remodelers, and homeowners. His firm draws hundreds of homes a year utilizing the technology of 3D and virtual reality.

“Homeowners are getting smarter and doing more research online before they ever find a builder. Unfortunately, they still have limitations in visualizing what the home will look like when they view the flat 2D paper plans. 3D and Virtual Reality help to bridge that gap”.
