Border Closure Updates...
Area 27 Dawgs... We've been holding out hope that the Canadian border would reopen in time for this epic Oliver BC event but the reality of this last weekend's announcement that the border will remain closed through at least September 21, coupled with a COVID surge up north like we have seen this last month in the US, we needed to make some tough decisions. Thank you to everyone that has supported this event and if you can't make it this year, we fully plan to rebook for 2021!

What We Know at This Time:
- This event is a FOR SURE GO, but only attended by our maple leaf dawgs. Anyone needing to cross the border will be unable to do so as our race is not considered essential business. I know, racing is essential!
- Fortunately Lucky Dog has an outstanding Canadian staff that will be supporting this event; you are in good hands under the guidance of Jason & Briana Miles and Rachel Thiessen while onsite at Area 27. The US Registration & Tech staff will continue to support all your requirements as you prepare for this event. All questions need to be sent to info@RaceLucky.com.
- We have plenty of Canadian teams to make this event possible and with losing our US teams, we now an additional 10 spots available for other maple leaf dawgs...help spread the word!
NEXT STEPS for Canadian Teams:
- ALL CANADIAN TEAMS, including those previously on the waitlist, are NOW CLEARED!
- Please continue to register your drivers and take advantage of the Early Dawg Discount that ends on September 1st.
- Due to COVID compliance, WE ASK THAT ALL TEAMS/DRIVERS register via Raceday in advance as there will not be onsite Registration.
- We now have 10 entry spots available with US teams not able to cross the border; please recruit your fellow racers.

- The Area 27 Event Schedule is under development (i.e., move-in, event hours, official event hotel, overnight policies, Saturday night dinner, etc.) and will be emailed & posted shortly. We are also considering a pre-event ZOOM drivers meeting, stay tuned!
NEXT STEPS for US Teams:
- US Teams unable to cross the border may request a refund or have your entry monies transferred to any future event. Email us ASAP at info@RaceLucky.com.
- With this Area 27 situation and Lemon's cancellation of their October Ridge event, Lucky Dog's PNW events are close to sold out. If you wish to transfer to the Sept Ridge or October Portland events, please let us know ASAP to confirm you spot. Don't forget we also have the Thunderhill Raceway Park event in mid-November.
