Lake City's silent sport spectaculars return in 2023 and we are launching registration for both events on February 20th at 12:00 noon!

Sportsman's Club Ice Fishing Contest

It's time, folks! Lake City's biggest winter party is upon us!

This Saturday, February 18th, head down to the Lake City Sportsman's Club for kids and adults fishing contests, home cooked food, raffles, auctions, and the most fun you can have with your parka on!

The volunteers at the club have been working hard to make their 55th installment of this annual tradition the best one yet!

Festivities kick off at 10am and run throughout the day.

An Almost Spring Shopping Event!

Shop small on Saturday February 25th in Lake City. Retailers throughout town will be hosting special events, demonstrations, samples, and sales for your shopping pleasure!

Assemble your own one of a kind, meaningful Easter basket with area artists and makers at Willow Gentile Studio and Gallery at her Easter Market, hop from shop to shops to see what the other spaces have to offer! And, don't forget to stop by Govt Pier to see the kites and ice skaters!

The Chamber and LC Public Works Deliver

Lake City Public Works and the Lake City Chamber of Commerce spent the morning of Jan. 27 delivering pails of salt, community guides, maps, and event flyers to downtown businesses. 

“It was a great morning with a lot of smiles and good conversation with downtown businesses,” Chamber Director Elizabeth Greenawalt said. “We did run out of pails, so plan to continue distributing them as we collect more empty pails.”
