Open Hearts, Open Mic
Friday the 13th 7-9pm
Before patriarchal times, Friday the 13th was considered the day of the Goddess. It was considered a day to worship the Divine Feminine that lives in us all and to honor the cycles of creation.
Friday the 13th was considered a very powerful day to manifest, honor creativity, and to celebrate beauty, wisdom, and nourishment of the soul.
Friday is Venus Day and we all know that Venus is the epitome of feminine energy. Her energy joins us at the end of the week to honor the days gone by and to remind us that it is important to rest, relax and play.
As a society, we all look forward to Fridays, and we all naturally find ourselves unwinding and relaxing in her comforting energy.
Friday the 13th is the perfect day to embrace Venus-like energy and to focus on creativity and beauty.
Join us for Open Hearts, Open Mic to nourish YOUR soul. On this special, sacred day, we celebrate community and creativity. Plan to be there! We’ll see you at 7 pm on Friday, November 13th.
If you’d like to share your creative gifts at the show, contact Jim Hetzer at jahetzer@sbcglobal.net to be added to the lineup.
The link to Open Hearts, Open Mic will be published in next week's newsletter.

Contemplation: How do I recognize and accept what is already given to me? What am I willing to invite, claim, and accept? How can I experience more ease and grace?
Affirmation: “Spirit within me is my unlimited Source. I give and I accept with ease and grace. I recognize and realize Spirit's infinite potential.”

2020 Vision Core Update
The 2020 Vision Core topic for October was: CCSL’s New Senior Minister (2.0)
This topic unveiled that we are a loving, joyful, connected community — a leading light that supports the spiritual journey, inspiring others. Our new Senior Minister: Magnetic, compassionate, passionate speaker. Stately & strong who keeps us whole, spiritually healthy & wise. She/he also sings & rocks with the choir & music.
Asking what do we need to release: Fear, dark skies, doubt, expectations & old ways. New minister encourages us to follow them in a new way.
Asking what do we need to embrace: The excitement of something new. Embrace the uncertainty, faith, wonder, patience. It's a process. Be willing to move together as one in harmony to magnetize the right minister in.
Finally, asking Spirit if there's anything else we need to know: Redefine our needs; our new minister’s skills lovingly bring us together to grow & blossom.
This information is shared with love from the Vision Core team, Elaine Ireland, Kristin Mihoci, Kristen Peairs, Jae Westfall, Audrey Strayer, Carisa Holmes and Ami Papadopulo..
