2021 continues to showcase the power and generosity of our community. This summer, Transfiguration Catholic Church once again hosted for four weeks in a row. During that time, the folks at Transfiguration put together a baby shower, for our family. This sweet mom was having her third baby but this was her first baby shower! She was overcome with tears of joy! We joined in their family's excitement welcoming sweet baby Christopher in August.

Even though hosting our families still looks a little different, we continue to host one to two families at a time in our Rotational Shelter program. We follow Covid protocols for the safety of both our guests and families. Our transitional houses are always full. It is more challenging than ever for our families to find places to live, given skyrocketing rents and limited availability. We are always on the lookout for new hosting congregations and volunteers to join us.

We gathered in June for our 6th Annual Golf Event at Indian Hills Country Club. It was great to catch up with so many friends and supporters as well as greet new friends. Check out our highlights video below.

We were so excited to see these smiling faces at one of our in person get togethers this summer. Our Graduate Resources and Continuing Education Program is for families who have 'graduated' from our housing programs. Our monthly programs are designed to continue to grow family life skills but sometimes we just like to gather to play!

Family Promise Week 2021 begins Sunday, October 24. This week long annual event is an opportunity for us to join with our fellow Affiliates of Family Promise National to raise funds and awareness of the crisis of family homelessness. Check out our posts this week on Facebook and Instagram.
