Zaveri will discuss unique insights on long-term technology vision, software as a service platform and more.

Winning Solution to Help South Florida Volunteers

GetSpeedBack, a Venture Class 8 company, provides an optimal solution for volunteer drivers to deliver food to homebound clients from food banks and other social impact agencies GetSpeedBack's software creates an automated process for the drivers by minimizing administration time and saving volunteer hours for drivers.

GetSpeedBack's solution won a $2,500 prize from Palm Beach Tech's Code for Good Hackathon, an event where each project supports two non-profit companies, Feeding South Florida, a hunger-relief organization, and Gift of Life, a bone marrow registry to help blood cancer patients. READ MORE.

Interchecks Technologies, Inc., a Venture Class 6 company, partners and invests with EML Payments Limited FinLab, allowing Interchecks to expand globally into Europe and Australia while building EML's payout options in the United States.

This partnership provides clients with a seamless payout experience, the ability to use prepaid card payments with General Purpose Reloadable solutions and create a standard banking account.

Continuing Success

Premier Virtual, a Venture Class 8 company, recently made agreements with the workforce development boards in Massachusetts and Tennessee, to provide a statewide outreach of career opportunities and hiring events.

As a veteran-owned company, Steve Edwards, CEO and managing partner of Premier Virtual, said he is glad to host the Florida Virtual Statewide Veterans' job fair called Paychecks for Patriots.

Small Business Executive Program and Nonprofit Executive Program

Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship has a Small Business Executive Program and Nonprofit Executive Program for CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, executive directors and presidents of small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Apply for the four-month, nine-session, training program, which focuses on growth, leadership expertise and financial success. Sessions begin in January.

FAU is hosting the third annual Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Conference on Saturday, Nov. 14. The virtual conference includes conversations on data science, analytics and artificial intelligence across academia, government and business.

The Urban League of Broward County's Young Professional Network is hosting its annual Minority Business Expo, from Nov. 13 to 14, to connect entrepreneurs and providing in-depth workshops about end-to-end business development and scaling strategies.
