FAU Ranked Nation's Best for Entrepreneurship Studies
The Princeton Review ranked FAU's College of Business as one of the top programs for entrepreneurship studies in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
As a part of the College of Business' Adams Center for Entrepreneurship, integrations of universities initiatives like Tech Runway, the WAVE Competition, the Kenan Social Engagement Program and the Phil Smith Center for Free Enterprise, all contribute to FAU's highly successful entrepreneurship program. Lock it Plates' Nationwide Outreach
Lock it Plates, a Venture Class 6 company and 2020 Maverick Venture of the Year, won $8,000 from University of South Florida's Frank and Ellen Daveler Entrepreneurship Competition, awarding the top undergraduate entrepreneurial minds in the state of Florida, on behalf of their financial officer, Camesha Jones.
Lock it Plates is also considered one of the top-performing e-commerce websites on GoDaddy.com, their product has been sold to customers nationwide and is now available on Amazon.com. Lock it Plates is currently reaching out to share their product with Nova Southeastern University, Barry University, Ava Maria University and the U.S. Military dining facilities.

The Spirit for Innovative Technology
With a passion for the newest and most innovative technologies, Neil Katz became a mentor at FAU Tech Runway because of its focus on giving back to the entrepreneurial community.
Neil Katz is a former IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in the IBM CIO (Chief Information Officer) office and IBM Research. He has filed more than 50 U.S. patents and is an IBM master inventor, a honorific title bestowed by the IBM Corporation to an employee based on their contribution to the patent portfolio. Small Business Executive Program and Nonprofit Executive Program
Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship has a Small Business Executive Program and Nonprofit Executive Program for CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, executive directors and presidents of small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Apply for the four-month, nine-session, training program, which focuses on growth, leadership expertise and financial success. Sessions begin in January.
