Bottom Line Up Front: From London, TRAC Analyst Sophia Badawy collaborated with U.S. based TRAC Analyst Cat Cooper on the right-wing attacks in Germany that left nine people dead on 19 February. The shootings in Hesse targeted two separate shisha bars popular with Turkish communities. Extreme far-right channels on Telegram named Tobias Rathjen, circulated his manifesto and declared him a "saint." Investigating his home, police deemed his motivations as "xenophobic." TRAC's analysis noted that the attack marked the second right-wing extremist targeting Muslims in Germany in the past 5 months. In October, Neo-Nazi Stephen Balliet "Live-Streamed" an attack near Humboldtstrasse Synagogue, a Jewish cemetery and a kabab shop in Halle.

Islamic State Central Africa (Wilayat Wasat Ifriqiyah) claim assaults on two separate barracks on 19 and 20 February in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique (24 February 2020) Islamic State's Amaq Agency relayed a report on two separate attacks on military targets in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique on 19 and 20 February. Allegedly, 17 soldiers died and a cache of ammunition seized. As TRAC Senior Analyst Daniel Lebowitz noted, the length of time between attacks and claims demonstrates not only the remoteness of the location of Islamic State Central Africa (Wilayat Wasat Ifriqiyah) but also the highlights limited access that Ahlu Sunnah Wa-Jamo/Ansar al-Sunna (Shabaab Cult) has with Islamic State Central Command.

Lone Knife Attacker at London Central Mosque Attacks Crier 'Muaddin' Near Regent Park, London, United Kingdom (20 February 2020) On 20 February, the 70 year old crier of London Central Mosque was stabbed while calling worshippers to prayer. The crier, Muaddin, was not seriously injured. A 29 year-old man was arrested by police. TRAC sources confirmed that he had been a worshipper at the mosque for at least six months. It was noted that the attack occurred on a Thursday instead of the next day, when the mosque would have been much more crowded for Friday Prayers. TRAC's analysis also noted the attacks against two shisha bars in Germany as described above.

Left Wing Anarchist Green Anti-Capitalist Front: "Call Week of Action! From 24 February Until 02 March 2020 in London & Edinburgh United Kingdom" - 19 February 2020 (Call For Squatting & Organizing Workshops on Self Reliance) TRAC analysts both in London and the U.S. monitored the left-wing Green Anti-Capitalist Front maneuvers. On 08 February, the group commandeered a closed police station in Paddington, London by squatting on the property. In subsequent days, members occupied the building for 11 days. The group issued a call to action from 24 February until 02 March that clearly capitalizes on the success of the Paddington Police Station. Advocating everything from "seed bombing" to more "reclaiming of unoccupied buildings" the week is full of "workshops." including one entitled "Big Oil and Big Mining must be taken down with the London Mining Network." That is scheduled for the last day.
