SCPL 2024 Job Fair Initiative (Ages 18+)


Scott County Public Library will host a Job Fair on April 18th from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Representatives from the Kentucky Career Center and Bluegrass Career Services will be here along with some potential employers. Library staff will also be on hand to help with resumes and demonstrate employment-related resources available at the library. Let us help you find your future.

Do you have personal papers, receipts, or bills that need shredding? Shred-It of Lexington will be here with a truck in our parking lot to shred your papers; no 3-ring binders or plastic bags please. Present your library card and you may shred up to 10 boxes for free! Don't have a library card? Sign up for one that day to qualify.

Spring clean your craft closet! Bring your extra supplies to the swap and pick up something new for you. Anyone can bring in new or gently used supplies, up to 1 box of material, and leave it for others to take; and anyone can come in and select from the donated items.
