Building Faculty Connections

The Division of Research (DOR) has a new initiative called We Are Your Team. Through this initiative, representatives from the DOR meet with faculty in their office or lab to learn more about their research and needs. This connection gives the faculty member an overall picture of how each of the units within the DOR work, and ideas of how the units could assist the faculty member.  READ MORE.

New Business Development Director

Sandra Marin was recently appointed the new regional director for the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at FAU. As regional director, she brings a wealth of experience to SBDC from the University of Missouri – Kansas City as a previous director and head entrepreneur. In her new role, Marin will help develop and guide the strategic direction of the Florida SBDC at FAU. READ MORE.
Alumni Return to FAU

4Ocean, a public benefit corporation founded by two FAU alumni in 2017, has relocated its corporate headquarters to join the Research Park at FAU.

Lynn McNutt, MFA, an associate professor in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will talk about creating solo performances.
