Insights and Updates at Luncheon


FAU sponsored a recent event coordinated by the St. Lucie Economic Development Council that showcased updates, discoveries and the impact of life sciences in the Treasure Coast region and beyond. Gregg Fields, Ph.D., interim vice president for research at FAU, spoke as an expert panelist, providing an overview of FAU's current research institutes and initiatives and offering insights into how primary academic research, research training and scientific breakthroughs contribute to economic development.

FAU Tech Runway Announces Its 12th Venture Class


FAU Tech Runway recently accepted 16 companies to participate in the 12th cohort of its Venture Program. The program provides the most promising startups and talented entrepreneurs in South Florida with an opportunity to join a year-long program that offers resources from FAU's Innovation and Business Development pipeline and more.

The four-day summit brought together representatives from the state’s multiple Small Business Development Centers. Keynote speakers shared insights and inspiration from journeys of growth and resilience.
