Dean’s Wisdom: Guiding You Through the Academic Journey

Gear up for success in these last two months of the academic year with our Raftr video series, 'Finish Strong with the Deans.'

We have asked four of our Associate Deans to provide some guidance and practical tips to help you navigate the final stretch with confidence. These videos are a roadmap for thriving at Queen’s — a supportive conversation with academic mentors, tailored to help you overcome challenges, stay motivated, and make the most of your potential as you finish off your first year.

Check out Raftr throughout Academic Support Week to see them all!

Scan and request service for cleaning in your residence building

WandaNEXT allows you to request custodial service in public areas with just a scan of a QR code! Our system tracks cleaning activity, protocols, and ensures task completion, making sure bathrooms stay clean and safe. After a successful trial, we're thrilled to announce our expansion to even more residence buildings!

Here's how it works:

  1. Spot the "Please let us know if this area needs custodial attention" sticker in public areas.
  2. Scan the QR code next to the sticker.
  3. Select the custodial items needed and submit your request!

Our custodial staff will be automatically notified and will attend to the area to resolve any issues. It's that simple! Available now in Gordon-Brockington, Brant House, Endaayaan-Tkanónsote, Leggett Hall, Smith House, and Watts Hall.

Check out the video of WandaNEXT in action on our webpage.
