NEW MEDICAL RECORD AS OF JANUARY 10, 2023
On January 10, 2023, KCHC/Pillar Health will be launching a new electronic health record (EHR) that includes a new patient portal. During the transition, we ask for your patience as your healthcare provider works to provide you with expert services, while at the same time, learning to navigate an EHR system. You may notice some delays in appointment scheduling or the registration process, but you can be assured that these are only temporary and will be resolved within a few weeks following the system launch. Please monitor your email closely for further information.
|
CareMessage will also be updated in January because it works with the new EHR. When you receive the text welcoming you to CareMessage, please stay in the program to continue receiving appointment reminders and health tips by text.

NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL DIABETES MONTH | Diabetes is a long-lasting health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy. There are three types of diabetes: type I, II, and gestational (during pregnancy), which can cause health problems over time if left untreated or controlled poorly with diet and medication. | KCHC'S SILVER LAKE CLINIC HAS EXPANDED HOURS FOR MEDICAL, DENTAL & BEHAVIORAL SERVICES | In 2019, the Kenosha Community Health Center opened a location behind Dairy Queen at 903 S. 2nd Street in Silver Lake, Wisconsin. Since then the clinic has been expanding hours and providers to meet the growing needs of patients in western Kenosha County.

SPOTLIGHT ON: CLINIC SITE LEADERS
ISAAC JOHNSON, JONATHAN TRAKAKIS & ANDREW RAUEN
| |
|
KCHC/Pillar Clinic Operations were reorganized in mid-2022. This included placement of site leaders with operational oversight at each clinic location. Isaac is the Clinic Site Manager for the 22nd Avenue and Boys and Girls Club clinics. Jonathan is responsible for the clinics located at 14th Avenue and Silver Lake. Andrew, champion for operationalizing the integrated care model, has oversight for the Pillar Health on Washington Road.
They work as servant leaders to build the practice and develop talent with the goal for KCHC/Pillar to reach its full potential. They also work as a team and believe that a collaborative approach is best for continuous improvement, problem solving and navigating to the right solutions.
Each site leader is working to create an environment where staff are energized by their work and excited about creating the ideal patient visit. Seeing patients get connected to resources that support their journey to living a healthier life is the ultimate goal.
