Noche de Altares 21st Anniversary | |

Noche de Altares is a community-based event celebrating DÃa de Muertos (Day of the Dead), an indigenous tradition.
​In addition to viewing beautifully created altars, attendees will be entertained by cultural performances and live music. Children can get their faces painted and participate in free, art workshops.

Downtown Santa Ana Historic Architecture Tour | |

This is a walking tour of the historic commercial and institutional core of Santa Ana, which includes two districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places and several landmarked buildings. The tour is led by Tim Rush, a historian and active preservationist, and current Chair of the City of Santa Ana's Historic Resources Commission.

The event features a party-like atmosphere with carolers singing holiday favorites, free gingerbread cookies, and three kids' crafts where children can decorate a wooden bakery board, create an elf-themed craft, and color elf-themed coloring sheets. Children attending the event will receive a free bakery hat and apron. Cookies, craft supplies, and giveaways are available while supplies last.

Historic French Park Residential Architecture Tour | |

November 18th 2-4:30 p.m.
French Park is one of Santa Ana’s oldest neighborhoods and is one of two historic districts in Santa Ana on the National Register of Historic Places. Tour-goers will enjoy seeing several large intact "Painted Ladies," brightly painted houses designed in the Queen Anne style from the 1890s, the district's earliest period of development, as well as an assortment of Eclectic and Period Revival residences from the first decades of the 20th century

Join us in celebrating the start of the holiday season and supporting local businesses, as we light a tree right in the heart of downtown Santa Ana. This free community event is open to all with entertainment and photo opportunities with Santa. The tree lighting ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Exhibit - Beyond the Great Wave: Works by Hokusai | |
Now through January 14th
Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849) is the renowned artist behind The Great Wave, one of the most iconic prints ever made. This exhibition includes a beautiful early example of The Great Wave and ventures beyond to feature a broad selection of works that Hokusai produced right up to his death at the age of 90.
