Dear Fiber Friends,
Happy Spring! 🐇
This wildly crazy potholder caught my fancy a few months ago. I worked it up in Zauberball Crazy Cotton, a DK weight yarn that has all of the charm of Zauberball combined with the softness and sturdiness of 100% cotton.
Why knit a potholder?
The answer lies in the cleverness of this German designer's approach to a basic kitchen necessity. That little round hanger is worked on DPNs. That column of stitches marches up the knitting and keeps your attention. It's a great Zen knitting project that takes brainpower to get it going. Plus you get to knit with Zauberball and that's always a winner.
There's Graywood project idea sheet that we're providing so you can see the colors and progress of the knitting.
Thanks for reading our emails and do give a thought to a new twist on these kitchen basics.
Best,
Wanda
