Hello Michael,

President Ronald Reagan reminded us in his farewell address to America on January 11, 1989, that, “Man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts." This premise is as old as time itself and speaks to the nature of mankind.

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida, arguably the most conservative political watchdog organization in Florida, requires every candidate seeking its endorsement to sign the following Liberty Compact:

“I pledge to the citizens of this state, and to the American people, that as their elected representative I will work to restore liberty, not restrict it; shrink government, not expand it; reduce taxes, not raise them; promote the freedom and independence of citizens, not the interference of government in their lives; and observe the limited enumerated powers of our constitution, not ignore them.”
