Check out what Paul Johnson had to say about the reservoir when he took his family to visit last year:
"Surprisingly, really good bass fishing and I like that it's artificial lures only. The area is very nicely maintained and great for family." *
Hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. in March and will change monthly. Affordable day and annual passes are now available for sale. One pass gives you 2024 season access to Quincy Reservoir and Aurora Reservoir.

Aurora Community Parks Are Getting A Glow Up
The city of Aurora is renovating 12 parks across the city through federal funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Projects are currently in the design phase with construction anticipated to start in early 2025.
The $1.9 trillion ARPA economic stimulus bill, signed into law in March 2021, provided the city of Aurora with $65.4 million in one-time direct federal aid to support economic and public health recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. To help identify community priorities and inform City Council’s funding decisions, the city of Aurora collected extensive feedback from residents about their recovery priorities.
In January 2022, City Council approved $4.5 million for park renovation projects. The select parks, listed below, will see renovations that fill gaps in service areas and provide inclusive and accessible amenities for residents of all ages and abilities, providing far-reaching impacts for the community.
Parks receiving ARPA-funded renovations are:
