You can help those in need by volunteering or donating supplies to the City of Ventura for its Foul Weather Shelter Program.

Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer during shelter activations
  • Donate through the Amazon Wishlist
  • Drop off in-person donations

The Program provides stay-warm parks and temporary shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness during severe weather events such as severe rain, wind, or low temperatures.

Last season, 45 nights of temporary shelter were provided, over 250 individuals and families were assisted, more than 3,000 meals were provided, and 150 stay-warm packs were distributed.
