KCHC IS OPENING A NEW LOCATION AT 4006 WASHINGTON ROAD IN KENOSHA THIS SUMMER

In March 2022, the Kenosha Community Health Center was awarded a competitive Healthcare Grant on behalf of the State of Wisconsin to help build a new single location for patients of all ages to visit for all of these services:

  • Medical
  • Dental
  • Behavioral Health
  • Pharmacy Services

The new facility will allow us to schedule about 39,000 more visits annually! We will be sharing more updates in our May newsletter.
MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT: SPOTLIGHTS
KCHC’s medical staff strives to continuously provide medical assistance to the community. Nowhere is this fact more illustrated than in the KCHC Medical Mobile Unit (MMU). The MMU makes care and services accessible to where patients live, work, and play at locations throughout Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth Counties.
“The entire MMU team sees anywhere from 5 to 200+ patients a day – it just depends on the day and what we are doing,” states KCHC Physician Associate Cienna Hopkins. “Our team is very dynamic and always changing gears on what is coming up next to keep our community as healthy as it can be.”

The MMU team is critical, according to Krystal Rafenstein, Nurse Practitioner, to help teach the community all the services that KCHC provides. “I would like the community to know that KCHC is not just about COVID testing and vaccines. We are a full-service clinic with chronic disease management, primary care, acute illness, dental, and behavioral health services.”
