WeBuild instituted a "Stability Measure" to quantify the impact of placing families in ownership and rental housing. The measure weighs the influence of affordable home placement on overall stability in 1) Housing, 2) Employment, 3) Income (Earnings and Expenses), 4) Education, 5) Childcare, and 6) Mobility. Households experienced the most significant impacts in housing, income, childcare, and mobility, increasing their stability by 71 percent.
The short and long-term effects of permanently living in homes that only require 30 percent of your income provide instant family benefits. This is one of WeBuild's significant goals.
