Upcoming Learning Opportunity
Protecting learning information is paramount for any Iowa school district, but can require considerable time, effort and research for technology integrationists and directors to navigate the nuances of many companiesβ fine print. Luckily, Iowa AEAs and the Iowa Department of Education are partnering to streamline data privacy stewardship tasks for CIOs in all Iowa schools and are excited to share that the Iowa Alliance of the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) is launching next year (2022-23).
Join as ITEC hosts a conversation with Dave Fringer and Jay Pennington, two members of the Iowa Alliance of the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SCPC) team. During the conversation, participants will learn how they can access these free tools and templates and learn more about the new National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) being adopted across all 32 SDPC Alliances.
Facilitators: Lynn Kleinmeyer and Dan Rader (ITEC) along with Dave Fringer (AEA) and Jay Pennington (Iowa DOE)
