With the recent surrender of 88 cats to HSLM, we are asking you to consider providing a monetary donation to help replenish our pet food supply through our Virtual Food Drive.
HSLM provides shelter and care to an average of 215 animals on a daily basis. The recent influx of felines within the shelter brings the animal-count to nearly 300.
Financial donations provide us with the funds to purchase specific pet food. Many HSLM shelter pets are on Veterinary prescribed or specialty diets. Working with our local retail partners we are able to source the right products to meet each pets diet requirements.

Providing balanced nutrition that suits the need of each animal offers comfort, health and consistency. This reduces vet visits for upset stomachs and improves their overall health as they prepare to transition to their new home.
Alternatively, pet food donations can be purchased through the HSLM Amazon.ca Wish List HERE or dropped off at the shelter administration entrance weekdays between 8 am – 6 pm & weekends between 8 am - 4 pm.
