As the summer sun warms the shores of Payette Lake, excitement at Paradise Point Camp is reaching mythical proportions! Our staff are eagerly preparing for the arrival of campers on June 24, anticipating weeks filled with adventure, friendship, and perhaps even a sighting of our elusive local legend, Sharlie the lake monster.

Legend has it that Sharlie, with her sinuous form and mysterious demeanor, has been glimpsed by fishermen and visitors alike over the decades. Could this summer be the season when Sharlie decides to grace us with her presence once more? While we can't promise a sighting, we can promise a summer packed with unforgettable moments on the sparkling waters of Payette Lake.

Did you know we offer Day Camps Tuesdays - Fridays in July? Campers can come for one day or return for many. Ages 7-12 years old are welcome, $75/day, lunch and a camp tee included. Way of the Spirit Pilgrimage

Join pilgrims from all across the Diocese of Idaho September 13th-15th for "The Way of the Spirit," a new way to experience Paradise Point like never before.

We're excited to offer rotational workshops, spiritual exercises, and worship opportunities that celebrate how the Holy Spirit moves in our lives. Pilgrims will also be provided with a special resource journal with devotions and practices that will help make the summer months a fruitful time in preparation for making a pilgrimage. Women's Camp 2024

Exhale: Rest, Reflect, Restore, Renew. August 16-19, 2024.

Yes, we all want to improve ourselves in all kinds of ways. Yet the Savior says, come to me, and I will give you rest. Leave your self-help books at home and come ready to rest, to play, to create, and connect. Experience rituals and practices that will feed your soul and connect you more deeply to the Divine in creation, in each other, in yourself. More information will be provided in the coming months.

At Paradise Point Camp we strive to show God's love to every person, and we acknowledge the ways in which Christianity, and many faith traditions, have excluded or harmed our LGBTQ+ family. This is why rainbow flags are flown below the Episcopal flag at Paradise Point Camp, a silent reminder that God loves you- no exceptions. Prayers of the People for Pride

Minister: God, who made us in your infinite creativity, you have chosen the spectrum of the rainbow to be the sign of your blessing and protection.

People: We pray for your children in the rains of inequality and oppression, that they would see your blessing.

Minister: On this Pride Sunday, we remember those who have blazed the trail for LGBTQ+ equality and justice.

People: We pray for those who continue to fight for full equality under the law.

Minister: We pray for those who continue to live under the threat of intimidation, oppression, or violence in our communities because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or the color of their skin.

People: God of life, help us to see you in all forms of identity and expression.

Minister: We pray for LGBTQ+ children and youth who struggle with isolation and shame, who have no safe space to retreat to, or mentors who can teach and guide them through their journey of self-discovery.

People: Empower us to walk in the way of love, to welcome the excluded and care for the vulnerable, to work for justice, and rejoice in the spirit of life. 

Amen.
