What's Happening at NSO?

Northville HS Athletics Brings

"Hoodies for the Homeless" Initiative to NSO

Northville High School's Athletics Department made a significant contribution to NSO clients with their "Hoodies for the Homeless" initiative. Spearheaded by students Thomas and Austin, the project garnered overwhelming support from students and families at Northville High.

The initiative which collects gently used or new hoodies, saw an impressive turnout, resulting in the student-athletes collecting nearly 300 hoodies. This generous donation will provide warmth and comfort to NSO clients at the NSO Bell Building and Detroit Healthy Housing Center.

Thomas and Austin's leadership and dedication were instrumental in rallying the Northville High School community behind this donation. Their initiative not only showcases the compassion and generosity within the student body but also shows the importance of using your platform to make a positive impact on our community.

The success of "Hoodies for the Homeless" shows the power of collective action and highlights the vital role that educational institutions like Northville High School play in creating empathy and social responsibility among students. By coming together to support those less fortunate, the Northville community has demonstrated its commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you again to Northville Athelics and we hope that others are inspired to continue supporting initiatives that aim to uplift and empower those in need within our communities.
