not anytime soon; inventory is low and therefore prices remain high

➡️ What NOT to do before closing on a home?

buy a car or open any new credit lines
change careers
co-sign a loan for someone
make large cash deposits (and the list goes on....)

➡️ Do sellers have to make any repairs the the home for buyers?

no; buyers can ask, but sellers are not obligated to make any repairs

➡️ Are shows like Selling Sunset and Million Dollar Listing accurate portrayals of the real estate industry?

NO! Many elements are not realistic - for example the clothes and shoes. It's difficult to show several homes in a day in 5 inch heels! Some "agents" on Selling Sunset do not actually have their real estate license.
What is accurate on some of the shows like Million Dollar Listing LA is the hustle. Real estate is hard work and very competitive, especially in southern CA.

➡️ What's the difference between the assessed value of your home vs market value of your home?

Assessed value is what the county thinks your home is worth. Property taxes are based on assessed value, so the lower the better! In CA, homes are reassessed every year on Jan 1.
Market value is what buyers are willing to pay. This is often more than the assessed value.

Nomads Canteen specializes in “Surfer Soul Food”. The owners, Sean & Jeff, have traveled the world surfing. They wanted to recreate the experience of surf spots in Central America, Fiji, Tahiti, and Indonesia.

Relax on the ocean view deck while enjoying food and drinks inspired by surf spots around the world. And don’t forget to check out El Jefe’s vintage surfboard collection! There is also a surf hotel attached offering accommodations and surf packages which includes the room, two meals per day, equipment rentals, and transportation to and from the surf spots. Enjoy!
