The Cedars-Sinai graduate school is pleased to announce two exciting changes to ensure our students stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving healthcare landscape:

New Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine

We are expanding the digital health curriculum with a brand-new course focused on AI in medicine. This innovative class will delve into the nuances of AI integration within healthcare, exploring whether, when, and how best to implement these powerful tools to improve patient care. Students will gain valuable insights into the practical applications of AI, preparing them to lead the way in this transformative area of healthcare. This class will be a wonderful complement to the separate Cedars-Sinai PhD program in AI, scheduled to launch in 2025 with a computer science and programming focus.

Program Name Change to Health Systems Science

In addition to our exciting new AI course, the program is updating its name from Health Delivery Science to Health Systems Science. This change reflects a commitment to staying at the forefront of the healthcare field and aligns the program with the latest industry standards for nomenclature. The new name better encapsulates the comprehensive scope of the curriculum, which emphasizes the integration and optimization of healthcare systems and technologies, including AI. This ensures that graduates are well-prepared to lead and innovate in diverse health settings.
