The City Council will hold its second regular meeting of the month on Tuesday, June 25, at 5:30 pm, in Council Chambers at the Vista Civic Center. The meeting is open to the public, and participation in person or virtually is welcome.

Vista Cool Zones Provide Relief From the Heat


As temperatures rise, staying cool is crucial for your health and comfort. The City of Vista has two designated Cool Zone locations where residents can escape the heat:


McClellan Senior Center

Vista Library

Reminder: Parks & Recreation Commission to Review Pickleball Court Options, June 24


The community is invited to attend the June 24 Parks & Recreation Commission meeting at 6 pm in Council Chambers at the Vista Civic Center. The Commission will discuss potential locations for new pickleball courts at Brengle Terrace Park. Part of the discussion includes exploring options to convert existing tennis courts into pickleball courts.

Independence Day Celebration with Fireworks on July 4


The City of Vista's 56th Annual Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, July 4, at Brengle Terrace Park and the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The park opens at 7 am, the Amphitheatre opens at 5 pm, and fireworks are at 9 pm. Musical entertainment from Cassie B begins at 7:35 pm at The Moonlight. Amphitheatre admission is $5 per person. There is no fee to park in the park or at The Moonlight.

Please be advised that fireworks are illegal throughout San Diego County. For a safe and enjoyable Independence Day, we urge you to leave fireworks to the professionals. Join us in celebrating July 4th responsibly and attend the celebration at Brengle Terrace Park with professionally organized fireworks displays. Public Safety and Military Appreciation Day at The Wave on July 4


Calling all heroes! The Wave Waterpark is thrilled to invite all active or retired Military, Firefighters, and Law Enforcement personnel to receive free admission on July 4.
