Vista Leadership Academy: Your Inside Look at City Government
Get a behind-the-scenes look at local government with the Vista Leadership Academy, a free eight-week program designed to give Vista residents and business owners a look at how their city operates. Held twice a year, this immersive experience takes participants on a journey through the inner workings of Vista, with weekly evening sessions every Wednesday starting August 28 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and one citywide bus tour during the day. You'll be able to meet elected officials and engage with city leaders. Whether you're a resident or a business owner, this is your chance to gain valuable insights into the decision-making processes, budgeting, and key issues that shape Vista.

Next General Plan Update Workshop Set for September 3
Join the City of Vista for the EIR Public Scoping Meeting and Mobility Open House as part of the Vista 2050 General Plan Update.
This is your chance to play a key role in shaping Vista's future. The City of Vista continues its E-Bike Safety Training & Rebate Program this weekend with new safety training sessions. With e-bikes becoming increasingly popular, it’s vital that riders are equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate safely.

- Age Requirement: Participants must be 10 years of age or older. (Recommended for children ages 10-14. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 12.)
- Note: Training sessions may be rescheduled if minimum participation requirements are not met.

This month, Moonlight Stage Productions invites you to immerse yourself in the life and music of one of the greatest songwriters with "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical." Running from August 14-31, this captivating jukebox musical tells the inspiring true story of Carole King’s rise to fame, from her humble beginnings as Carole Klein, a young Brooklyn songwriter, to her meteoric success as a hit-maker and music icon.
Journey through the early days of Carole’s career as she meets and partners with lyricist Gerry Goffin, crafting chart-topping hits for the biggest names in music. But as her career soars, Carole’s personal life faces its own challenges, leading her to rediscover her voice and create her groundbreaking album, "Tapestry."
