FEATURED STORY

Building and Safety Month

For the month of May, we celebrated our Building and Safety Division as they received a well-deserved proclamation. These dedicated professionals, the guardians of public safety, wear many hats—think building inspectors, officials, plans examiners, permit technicians, and fire marshals, just to name a few. They're the superheroes who undergo constant training to stay ahead of the curve, ensuring that our buildings meet the latest codes and standards. But their job doesn't stop there! They enforce compliance, educate stakeholders, and conduct safety checks to keep our homes and neighborhoods secure.

Picture this: while we go about our daily lives, they're the ones ensuring that our buildings can withstand whatever Mother Nature throws our way and that they're sturdy enough to stand the test of time. Their efforts don't just keep us safe; they also boost economic development by constructing buildings that are not only safe but also durable and long-lasting.

These staff members are key players in community planning, bridging the gap between government, business, and the built environment. Congratulations to the Building and Safety Division—for their dedication, their hard work, and their unwavering commitment to keeping us safe and sound.
