🌟 Join Us in Spreading Joy! 🌈

Our community is full of generous hearts, and we often receive requests for essential household itemsβ€”beds, couches, kitchen goods, and more. We're seeking a compassionate volunteer to spearhead the search for these much-needed donations.

In the past, incredible volunteers from various neighborhoods have used platforms like Buy Nothing to fulfill these requests. As a coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in arranging delivery/pickup.

Ready to make a meaningful impact?

In collaboration with the African American Pastors Council and Ebenezer Church, we're on a mission to support ACPS families in need by providing essential cleaning and hygiene supplies. We're in search of a kind hearted and organized volunteer to help orchestrate this impactful initiative.

Become the heart of this endeavor by setting up a SignUp Genius to assemble these much-needed care packages and ensure they reach the families who need them most.

For more details on how you can contribute to this heartwarming cause, please reach out to us at familieshf@gmail.com. Your kindness can bring comfort and support to those in our community! πŸ’™

We love when things come together. We got to love on two families, recently!!! Thanks to Beyond Fitness with Sabrina Sabrina for always showing up to empower women! She collaborated with Knot Broken and Families Helping Families to love on two families!!!!

Over the last 30 days, our Solutions Team successfully addressed 7 requests for assistance. These requests spanned a spectrum, including aid for utility bills, emergency/one-time support, and clothing assistance.

*Reminder if you know of any projects taking place to support ACPS families, let us know, and we are happy to share them with our network.

Empower a Family, Erase Lunch Debt!

🌟 Join the Cause for Change! 🌟

We've received an urgent plea from a local school seeking assistance for a family grappling with a $1,000 school lunch account debt. While efforts are underway to inform them about free/reduced lunch options, immediate action is needed.

Be a Champion for Change! 🌈 Volunteer now to rally together and raise funds that will alleviate lunch debts like this one. Let's unite to advocate for crucial changes in the system.

Visit our fundraising campaign at: https://tinyurl.com/FHF-Lunch-Balances and be the catalyst for positive transformation. Every contribution brings us one step closer to ensuring no family faces the burden of lunch debt.
