β€œThe effort we put into coming to the United States was worth it - because we got the chance to see our daughter receive her diploma.”

-Rosy Padilla & Isidro Carreto

Bright Futures Park City Parents

As a PCHS student, Lindsay Carreto participated in both Dream Big and Bright Futures.

She graduated from USU last spring and landed a job that brings her full circle... As BF's High School Program Coordinator, she now works with two of the programs that supported her launch!

Lindsay's story is the why behind Bright Futures:

A cycle of opportunity and support to positively impact first-gen students - and the Park City community - for generations to come.

This summer, 29 PCHS 10th graders began their own journeys.

Most worked through four weeks of Dream Big curriculum, and all completed Bright Futures' Summer Academy, a 3-day event that deepens college knowledge and bonds students into peer groups to see them all the way through college graduation.

As the number of Bright Futures students grows, your transformative contributions ensure the cycle of support, success, and impact can continue.

What is PCEF's

ο»ΏBright Futures Program?

β€Š

Bright Futures changes lives by supporting motivated first-generation students as they work to get to and through college.

The PCEF Bright Futures program walks alongside these first-gen students as they make their college graduation dreams a reality.

Right now, there are nearly 150 Bright Futures students – 65 in college - and they boast a 90% progression rate.

Nationwide - just 11% of first-gen college students battling economic barriers make it to the college graduation finish line.

8 members of the first & second cohorts of Bright Futures are brand-new college graduates!

Your generosity is an investment into our future: it changes students' lives and economic outcomes for generations to come.

ο»ΏThe Latinos in Action classes from 6th-12th grade teach leadership and community service skills, focusing on the strength of students' bilingual capabilities and multicultural experiences.
