APRIL 10, 2020 - Update from AHCA regarding denied entry to ALFs & SNFs
We have heard from a number of members that care providers are being denied entry to ALFs and SNFs due to COVID-19 fears. On a call with AHCA yesterday, Secretary Mary Mayhew stated that facilities cannot deny access to home health care staff arriving to provide care and services. She instructed to report these instances to your local AHCA Field Office.
