Exciting Scholarship Opportunity at St. Edward's University

Discover the NextGen E3 program at St. Edward's University, shaping tomorrow's environmental leaders. Major in Biology or Environmental Biology and Climate Change to delve into natural resources and agriculture. Selected students will receive a $15,000 annual scholarship, mentorship from USDA professionals, and a spring internship. Assured Admissions Spreadsheet

Did you know that many universities offer assured (or guaranteed) admissions? As long as you meet the hour and GPA requirements of the university you’re pursuing, you can secure admission to a bachelor’s degree program at that institution. Ricky Lefranc Pierantozzi is set to graduate from St. Edward’s University next month, with a major in Ethics and Leadership, and a minor in Communication. He feels that ACC prepared him well for a fulfilling time at St. Ed’s.


Ricky's advice to students: “Visit the campus, take a tour, and reach out to an admissions counselor. Find your support system of people who believe in you!”

Kait White, Administrative Assistant III, plays a pivotal role in our department. She provides administrative support for new and existing programs, ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes. Her advice to students: “Even if you don't know exactly where you want to transfer, speak to a Transfer Specialist early and take advantage of all the resources Transfer Services provides. They will set you up for success!”

ACC & Texas State Partner for Guaranteed Admissions Program

Bats to Cats, a new transfer program, provides a clear path for guaranteed admission so students can start at ACC and get to Texas State. Eligible students may apply for the program beginning in fall 2024 with the intention of transferring to TXST in summer 2025, and beyond. Bats to Cats was specifically designed to increase student belonging, and save students time and money. Read this post for details on the program.

ACC’s new Student InfoHub is a news platform that keeps students informed, engaged, and connected, crafted with the student experience in mind. Learn more about Student InfoHub. 


Student Life’s Finals Week

With finals just around the corner, ACC’s Student Life aims to help students finish strong with its Finals Stress-less Week. In-person and virtual events will be conducted from May 6-10, and will provide all students with stress-relieving activities, opportunities to celebrate accomplishments, and much more!
