Prepare to be transfixed as you step foot into The Curious World of Orchids. The Orchid Show returns to the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory after its extensive renovation. This show will display hundreds of peculiar orchids with fascinating, unique, and wildly beautiful shapes. You’ll learn more about these exquisite flowers and what makes them such a unique and diverse plant family. Make this show a stop to brighten up your winter.

Experience the Myriad Botanical Garden’s annual orchid show through a different lens: a camera lens! Join Doug Hoke in learning the basics of botanical photography as you capture the beauty of this unique floral family on a guided expedition through our Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory. Receive real-time guidance and feedback from a professional, award-winning photographer and open your mind to a whole new way or seeing the world around you. Class will begin in our classroom before we proceed out into the conservatory. Please bring your own camera.

Become a citizen scientist today by helping with The Great Backyard Bird count! This annual event calls bird lovers from around the world to observe the birds in their area, count, identify and record their data to help scientists! Data recording sheets and pencils will be provided.

Explore the importance of timing when growing seeds as we create seed starters out of an everyday household item- toilet paper tubes! Learn the science behind seeds, how they grow and when to plant them. Each student will take home their very own mini greenhouse with seeds!

Come join us for family-friendly Irish celebration filled with music and dancing, local food and artisan vendors, photo ops, and more! Enjoy dance routines by the McTeggart Irish Dancers of OK and music from Flowers of Edinburgh and Raven’s Three. Hear the sound of classic bagpipe music as the Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums make their grand entrance through the Gardens.
