Officer-specific training workshops were a goal of the sorority that came to fruition last August. After receiving feedback from attendees, we decided to modify the structure and offer shorter workshops throughout the semester.

Gift of Life Marrow Registry is teaming up with Omega Phi Alpha (OPhiA) to host “Gift of Life Week” February 12–19, 2023.

During this week, members will work to add new volunteer donors to the marrow registry, with the goal of registering at least 500 individuals.

All chapters are expected to participate in this community at large service project and alumni can register using this link.

When someone asks what sorority you’re in, how do you respond? Do you use the full name of our organization? Do you say OPA or OPhiA?

This year, OPhiA is taking a different approach to resolutions. We recognize the value in a guiding beacon to follow for the new year, and we have decided to focus on a WORD to encompass 2023 rather than a resolution. 

Managing Director Alyssa Bernhardt shares an update on membership and service in the Fall 2022. She also shares about new resources and upcoming events. 

The Omega Phi Alpha Foundation has provided leadership support to chapters and members of the national sorority in two different instances over the past year.
