We are excited to have the opportunity to offer our customers first edition autographed copies of "The 1619 Project: A Visual Experience," for a limited time.
You may remember the goldrush behavior we witnessed and participated in when The New York Times announced the limited edition magazine insert version back in 2019. The historical importance of this work has been underscored by the significant pushback and numerous book bans it has faced. The 1619 Project aims to reframe American history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the very center of our national narrative, challenging long-held perspectives and sparking essential conversations about our past and present. The controversy and efforts to censor this work highlight its powerful impact and the ongoing debate over how history should be taught and understood in the United States.
The new edition has a release date of 10/22/24 and adds art and photographs not in the previous edition. Books will be shipped on or after 10/22/24.
To get your signed first edition copy, PLEASE preorder by 6/28/24 at 10am CST.
