Last week, the Coachella Valley experienced the impact of Hurricane Hillary, resulting in significant flooding throughout Palm Springs and surrounding areas. While crews are working diligently to repair the damage and clear the roads, some main routes are still closed. Highway 10 was particularly affected, causing disruptions in transportation across the valley. We appreciate your patience as the community recovers from this natural event. On a positive note, the rain has subsided, and temperatures have returned to the high 113s for the weekend.


Though no major events are currently scheduled, we invite you to explore the vibrant scene in Greater Palm Springs. The real estate market in Coachella Valley remains stable, with home prices maintaining their level due to low inventory. Buyers are displaying patience, partially influenced by the current interest rates hovering around 7.48%. However, we anticipate a surge in purchasing once rates begin to decrease next year. If you've been contemplating a move, now is an excellent time to both sell and buy, as the next few months may mirror the purchasing frenzy we saw in 2021.
