The big day is almost here! Join us for St. Benedict’s 15th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration on September 21, 2024. We’re kicking things off with a New Parent Happy Hour from 4:00-4:30 P.M., followed by the main celebration from 4:30-8:00 P.M.

Expect an evening full of live music, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun! This adults-only event is free, but an RSVP is required.If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time!

Join Us For the 13th Annual Fun Run on October 19, 2024

St. Benedict's Episcopal School's Parent Association is excited to invite the St. B's community to our 13th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 7:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

This fun-filled event will kick off with Bib Pickup and Race Day registration opening at 7:30 A.M. Races will begin at 9:00 A.M., starting with a Tot Trot for the littles, followed by multiple heats of our student, parent, staff, and alumni one-mile race. After the race, all participants will enjoy raffle drawings, snacks, and a dance party. This annual event is fun for everyone, even if running isn't your thing!

Middle School Madness

Middle school parents, we invite you to join us for Middle School Madness (Curriculum Night). This event will provide a glimpse into a typical school day for your student. You will have the opportunity to meet with each of your student’s teachers and rotate through mini-classes.

Chapel services for the 2024 - 2025 school year:

• 1st/2nd/3rd - Tuesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• 4th/5th - Wednesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• PK3/PK4/K - Wednesdays at 9:15 A.M.
• 6th/7th/8th - Thursdays at 8:20 A.M.

If you are a parent attending Chapel, please park at the Hive or South Campus.

For parents of PK/K students, we ask that you only attend when your child is celebrating a birthday or serving as a chapel helper. The younger children tend to be harder to separate at the end of the service. Thank you for your support. 

If you need care for your child during St. B’s Fall Break (Friday, October 11, 2024, and Monday, October 14, 2024), register for Fall Break Stingers Unplugged! Registration is required for all students who attend these days and will be open until October 4, 2024. Stingers Unplugged will be offered from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on these days, and a half-day option is available. You may register for just one day or both days of the break.

Save the Date - Stingers Squad Art Expo!

Stingers Squad would like to invite all parents and caregivers to attend an aftercare Art Expo on Friday, September 27, 2024. Time and other details to come!

Important Reminder There will be no aftercare on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 to allow Stingers Squad staff to attend St. B’s faculty and staff holiday party.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from September 15 to October 15. It began as a week-long celebration under President Johnson in 1968 and was expanded to a month by President Reagan in 1988. The month-long celebration provides more time to recognize the significant contributions Hispanic/Latino Americans have made to the United States.

Hispanic Heritage Month does not cover one single month but instead begins in the middle of September and ends in the middle of October. The timeframe of this month is significant because many Central American countries celebrate their independence days within these dates, beginning on September 15 with Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. By aligning with these independence dates, Hispanic Heritage Month honors the resilience and determination of the Hispanic community. Key Independence Days celebrated within Hispanic Heritage Month include:

• September 15 – Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua
• September 16 – Mexico
• September 18 – Chile
• September 21 – Belize
