Supply is VERY LOW. Demand is VERY HIGH.
As you can see from the Rockingham county, we are down almost 30% in closed transactions, pending sales down 13% from just a year ago yet prices have increased.
The Spring market for the past few years has been absolute fire, and 2023 is proving to be no different. There are ever-persistent grumbles about the interest rates scaring off buyers- and that was true this past winter, but the early spring market has not followed suit. Turnkey homes are continuing to receive multiple offers (sometimes in excess of 30+ offers!); especially homes geared towards first-time homebuyers (under ~$500k).
